3. Papier Mache Planet Mars Craft
We thought it would be fun to create a papier mâché red planet Mars craft using basic materials you probably already have at home.
First, let’s make an adhesive mixture by putting the white flour or glue in the bowl and mix it with water.
Next, have your child blow the balloon just enough to form a circle.
Get some old newspapers and cut them into strips.
Dip the cut-out newspaper in your adhesive mixture and stick it to the balloon.
Continue doing it all over the balloon and apply two layers to make sure of full coverage.
Let it completely dry before starting to paint the planet.
Let your kids unleash their creativity by mixing paint colors onto the newspaper and setting it aside to dry.
When it’s dry, you can tie a string on your Mars craft.
Find the perfect place to hang your papier mâché Mars craft that will look like it’s floating.
