We’ve come up with the easiest printable raptor template ideas for incorporating them into your daily routines.
These ideas are guaranteed to impress your tiny dinosaur fanatics!
1. Everything About Raptors
My kids and I have seen far more Jurassic Park sequels than you would imagine.
In some ways, this made me a dinosaur fan as well.
That’s why I like to decorate their bedroom and playroom with dinosaur stuff, particularly raptors!
They requested a dinosaur-themed reading corner, so I went on the hunt for raptor books that they could read during their quiet time or in lessons.
I also included some raptor toy figures for them to play with after they’ve finished reading.
These raptor items can also be used in your classes.
Start your lesson with a good raptor book, or let them explore with the raptor toys to get them interested in the topic.
We will share a selection of raptor collectibles that your children will adore.
- Captain Raptor and the Perilous Planet
- Rappy the Raptor
- Jurassic World Super Colossal Velociraptor ‘Blue’ Action Figure
- Wild Republic Velociraptor Plush, Dinosaur Stuffed Animal, Plush Toy, Gifts for Kids, Dinosauria 17 Inches
2. Dinosaur Stomp
Have you ever seen a dinosaur footprint in a movie?
Think about how large they are.
My kids were amazed by the dinosaur’s enormous feet!
That’s when I came up with the idea for this printable raptor template, which they loved making and playing with.
This dinosaur stomp craft activity will be a hit with your kids since they can pretend to walk and make dinosaur footprints exactly like in the movies.
Prepare your materials, including cardboard, paint, a paintbrush, markers, scissors, and hot glue.
Begin by drawing the dinosaur’s feet on a piece of cardboard.
Make sure it’s larger than your child’s foot.
You can look for a photo of a dinosaur’s feet for reference.
After that, cut out the feet outline.
Your children can paint the dinosaur feet with any color they like, or they can leave them unpainted.
Draw and cut a rectangle shape on a piece of cardboard the same size as your child’s foot so they can use it to put their foot in.
You can attach the rectangle shape to the dinosaur feet using hot glue once they have dried.
This dinosaur stomp is also a great outdoor activity because they have plenty of room to stomp and leave dinosaur tracks!
3. Color by Number
This printable raptor template can be used in a variety of ways.
Did you know that you can use coloring to teach math?
All you need for this activity is a copy of the printable raptor template, crayons, and markers!
Other family members can join in on this activity, which is fun for the whole family!
Print out a copy of the raptor template and label each body part with numbers.
Draw the number 1 on the head and body with a corresponding color.
For number one, we used the color blue.
We used the color purple for number 2 on the scaly stripes on the body.
Continue with other body parts.
You can use numbers 1 to 10 or 1 to 5 for beginners.
4. Jurassic Park or Lego Jurassic Themed Party
If your kids can’t get enough of Jurassic Park dinosaurs, the blue raptor dinosaur, or even Lego Jurassic, it’s time to throw a party in their favor!
Invite all the dinosaur enthusiasts you know; they will have a great time at the party with so many printable raptor template ideas.
