After you have printed your desired template, cut the shapes out and trace them on your card stock paper.
You can make you fish any color you’d like, but we chose to stick with Valentine’s Day colors of pink and red.
First, gather your large circle, and 3 small hearts. Glue one to the very top of your circle.
Next, glue the remaining two hearts to the back side of your Valentine’s Day Fish. Over lap them slightly so they look like one connected tail.
After that, you will glue on your smallest heart directly across from his tail. This will be his lips.
Wait a few minutes for that to get good and dry. Then flip him over.
Finally, you will add on the largest heart in the middle and glue on a googly eye. Now you are done!
How cute is he? How did yours come out??
More Options to Choose:
- You can print the blank version and trace the cut outs on card stock paper for a sturdier Valentine’s Day card,
- Print the color version for a simple and easy Valentine’s Day craft or,
- Print the blank version and use it as a Valentine’s Day coloring sheet activity and then glue the pieces together.
To print your Valentine’s Day Fish template, turn the printer on, click on either the color version or black and white then click print.
This is the easiest version of the Valentine’s Day Penguin, print it off, cut along the black lines and glue the pieces together.
I like this version best. While I am working to use it as a template for our card stock paper, my daughter can color her own to keep in her collection. Once complete then cut them out and glue him together.
