5. Bible Lesson
God sure does give us a lot of marvelous creatures to see and observe, doesn’t he? While making this cute turtle craft, explain to your kids how important it is to be thankful to God for all that He provides to us.
We can do this in prayer, expressing our gratitude to one another verbally or doing something nice for someone else. Think of all the wonderful qualities God has shown to us in His spirit.
In Galatians 5:22, Paul is expressing what qualities God has and can be shown. “On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,..”
You could ask your little ones, “Using these qualities, how can you show that you are thankful to God for what He has blessed us with?” One example could be by showing patience for things that we do not have yet.
By being patient, we can fully appreciate what we have now and thankful that we can trust in God’s promise for the future.
