1. All Things T-Rex
One of the first dinosaurs that my children were interested in was the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
They are famous for being one of the most voracious meat-eaters who ever lived.
That’s why I was so excited to make this printable tyrannosaurus template and present it to them.
And, without a doubt, they loved and enjoyed it!
My kids hauled out their entire t-rex collection, which included books, toys, and board games!
I’ll be sharing some impressive tyrannosaurus items that you may incorporate into your learning activities.
You can use these books with informative facts about tyrannosaurus and have your children play and engage with toy figures and an exciting board game that you can share with the entire family.

2. Tyrannosaurus Rex Paper Hat
My children are always engaged in imaginative play.
I knew I needed to come up with an idea that they could create and use for their imaginative play when I showed them this printable tyrannosaurus template.
They already have toys, but I’d like to see them make their own materials for play.
Your kids can also make this tyrannosaurus rex paper hat to use and wear during pretend play or even dress-up days at school!
For this activity, all you need is green or any other color construction paper, markers, scissors, and glue.
Cut an inch of two strips of construction paper for the headband. Make sure it fits your child’s head by measuring it around his or her head.
Cut five strips of construction paper for the spikes.
The strips should be folded in half.
Make a diamond shape, but leave the middle flat.
Cut it diagonally in the center, leaving the folded edge.
Place the folded edge first when attaching the spikes in a row on a strip of construction paper using glue.
Fold the spikes one by one across the strip you’ve attached them to once it’s dried.
Glue the spikes’ two sides together.
Attach the spikes on the headband after they have dried.
The spikes should form a trail below your child’s back.
3. Hungry T-Rex
The tyrant lizard is another name for the tyrannosaurus rex.
They are carnivores with sharp teeth and powerful jaws who dominated the Cretaceous period as one of the most fearsome predators.
Have you ever wondered how many and how big their teeth were?
They had 60 bone-crunching teeth as big as bananas!
This printable tyrannosaurus template idea is perfect for kids who enjoy catching, throwing, and shooting.
Feed anything you can shoot into the mouth of this hungry t-rex craft.
Draw a t-rex head on a piece of a cardboard box to create the hungry t-rex.
Make it large so that you have enough room to draw the mouth.
The printable tyrannosaurus template can be used as a guide for drawing the head.
Draw the mouth wide open and cut away the excess.
Cut triangle shapes out of white construction paper and glue them to the mouth to create sharp teeth.
More tyrannosaurus features, like eyes and a nose, can be added.
Enjoy shooting balls, fruit and vegetable toys, and other fun food toys you have on hand!
