Let’s make a stegosaurus craft with paper plates, tissue rolls, construction paper, markers, scissors, and glue!
Cut the paper plate in half to make the stegosaurus body.
You can either have your children color or paint the paper plate, or you can leave it blank.
Cut an empty tissue roll into two small rolls to create the stegosaurus legs.
Cut an inch from the top of the roll on both sides so the paper plate can be attached.
You can draw and cut out all the other stegosaurus body parts from construction paper, such as the head, bony plates, and tail.

Make sure the bony plates on its back aren’t included.
Label the clothespins with numbers.
Start with numbers 1 to 5 if you have a preschooler.
You can write the numbers 1 to 10 for kindergarteners.
Begin the activity by having your children pick the clothespin with the number 1 on it and clip it to the stegosaurus body.
