How to Make A DIY Butterfly Princess Wand
These are the supplies we used to make this fun simple and cute DIY Butterfly Wand:
After you have printed your butterfly stencil, cut the shapes out, then trace them on your glitter foam sheets.
Then cut those out. You should have 4 butterflies total for this activity.
Next, we will be gluing on your ribbon. We used these, but you can use any colors you’d like.
After many trials, I found that tacky glue is pure magic to keep the ribbon in place and stays in place, especially after royal play time!
Once the ribbon is set just how you like it, dab a bit of tacky glue on the upper part of your precious butterfly.
Be sure to leave a little hole open at the bottom for your dowel rod.
Next, open the bottom of your butterfly craft and place a good amount of tacky glue in the middle. Then, insert the dowel rod and glue the sides closed.
Finally, glue on the top layer of your butterfly and your DIY princess wand is complete!
Be sure to leave it to dry for a few hours. Tacky glue is fantastic, but it takes a little bit of time to set.
