What Our Readers Say

This craft is a fun way to introduce our community helpers week themed for first responders. My students loved this craft!”

“My students learned all about rabbits before spring break. They used this craft to attach to their writing piece that they completed. The example at the top corner of the page of what the rabbit should look like once it is assembled was very beneficial for my students.”

Chelsie C.

“First graders at my school are doing a large unit on birds. Originally, I was planning to use it with my small group of ESL students to work on vocabulary relating to birds. However, I ended up providing coverage for the classroom teacher and the whole class had a blast choosing their bird, using books in the classroom to decide on realistic colors. Many students benefited from the cutting practice and practicing multi-step directions. We mounted on cardstock, laminated them and then put them on a popsicle stick to resemble puppets.”

This was an easy to use resource for my students. They were able to color in the pieces, cut it out and glue it on colored paper. Came out so cute!”
