Valentine’s Day is by far my favorite holiday. My daughter and I love making our own Valentine’s Day cards to share and this year we decided to share them with you too.

This super cute and easy DIY Valentine’s day Penguin art project is great for a simple classroom craft to be shared among students or can be done at home with your kids. Print either the blank version or colored.

Simple Valentine’s Day Penguin Art Project for Kids with Free Penguin Template
Materials Needed:
- Card Stock Paper or Construction Paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Printable Template (found at the bottom of the page)

Options to Choose:
- You can print the blank version and trace the cut outs on card stock paper for a sturdier Valentine’s Day card,
- Print the color version for a simple and easy Valentine’s Day craft or,
- Print the blank version and use it as a Valentine’s Day coloring sheet activity and then glue the pieces together.
Cut out and trace all of your penguin shapes and glue them together. Starting with the heart on his belly.
Next, glue on the triangle nose.
After that, glue on the white circles to form your penguin craft’s eyes.
Then, glue on the black portion of his eyes.
Finally, glue on all of the hearts for his legs, arms and beating heart.
To print your Valentine’s Day Penguin template, turn the printer on, click on either the color version or black and white then click print.
FREE PRINTABLE VALENTINE’S DAY PENGUIN (COLOR)
This is the easiest version of the Valentine’s Day Penguin, print it off, cut along the black lines and glue the pieces together.
FREE PRINTABLE VALENTINE’S DAY PENGUIN (BLANK)
I like this version best. While I am working to use it as a template for our card stock paper, my daughter can color her own to keep in her collection. Once complete then cut them out and glue him together.
