Share your love this Valentine’s Day with this super cute Valentine’s Day Elephant. He makes a wonderful classroom Valentine’s activity, can be done at home with your kids, or make it yourself for your Valentine.
This tutorial comes with two free printable versions to choose from. After you have printed your template, follow along with the step-by-step instructions and have fun!

Easy and Cute Valentine’s Day Elephant Paper Craft with FREE Printable Templates
- Card Stock Paper or Construction Paper
- Googly Eyes
- Printable Elephant Template (found at the bottom of the page)

After you’ve printed your template and cut out the shapes, trace them on your gray and pink card stock paper.
Then cut out those shapes.
Next, take two of your small pink hearts and glue them on your two gray hearts and the final pink hear to the end of your elephant craft’s body.
After those have dried, glue them to the side of your Valentine’s Day Elephant head.
Finally, glue on the last heart to the end of his trunk and two googly eyes to his face. He is done! How does yours look?
More Options to Choose:
- You can print the blank version and trace the cut outs on card stock paper for a sturdier Valentine’s Day card,
- Print the color version for a simple and easy Valentine’s Day craft or,
- Print the blank version and use it as a Valentine’s Day coloring sheet activity and then glue the pieces together.
To print your Valentine’s Day Elephant template, turn the printer on, click on either the color version or black and white then click print.
This is the easiest version of the Valentine’s Day Elephant, print it off, cut along the black lines and glue the pieces together.
I like this version best. While I am working to use it as a template for our card stock paper, my daughter can color her own to keep in her collection. Once complete then cut them out and glue him together.
