3. Scarecrow Craft

Did you know scarecrows can have leaf hair?

Like leafy, crunchy and colorful hair!

That’s exactly what we discovered one breezy afternoon when we used the free printable scarecrow face template and gave it a twist.

We used real fall leaves to craft the most fabulous scarecrow hairstyles ever imagined.

I printed a few of the five available designs and then took my kids to a mini nature walk to collect as many leaves as we could carry.

Red, yellow, orange, crinkly brown because we were basically on a mission for the ultimate scarecrow salon makeover!

We also turned the leaf-hair scarecrows into a wall collage.
