Easy to Make Penguin Craft with Free Printable Templates
After you have you’ve printed your favorite Penguin template, gather up the rest of the supplies found below.
- Colored Card Stock Paper or Construction Paper
- White Card Stock Paper
- Printable Christmas Penguin Template (FOUND AT THE BOTTOM)
So now you have printed your penguin template, now it is time to cut out all of the pieces.
Next, you will glue on your Christmas penguin’s head, his peak, his cute little feet and finally his arms.
Once he is all put together, it is time to make this winter penguin warm. For this step, it is time to glue on his cozy scarf.
You can leave him like this or move on to the next step to turn this winter penguin craft into a Christmas one.
Let’s help this adorable penguin get into the Christmas spirit by gluing on his Santa hat. Cheesy, I know, but I had to – we play along like that with our kids.
Now he is all finished. So whether you are studying about arctic animals in your kindergarten class, doing a winter theme with your preschooler or simply staying in doors because it’s too cold to play outside, I am certain that your kids will love making this Christmas penguin craft!
Options to Choose:
- You can print the blank version and trace the cut outs on card stock paper for a sturdier Christmas Penguin art project. This option is good for older kids as it is more in depth. Use the below options if you have smaller kids.
- Print the color version for a simple and easy Christmas penguin craft (as seen in the above tutorial), or
- Print the blank template and use it as a Christmas coloring page activity and then glue the pieces together.
To print your Christmas Penguin template, turn the printer on, click on either the color version or black and white then click print.
This is the easiest version for the kids of the winter Penguin Art Project, print it off, cut along the black lines and glue the pieces together. This is shown in the simple tutorial.
My daughter especially loved doing this version too because she was able color her penguin whatever color she wanted. I helped her with the cutting, but she did everything else herself.
