Especially due to the times that we are in, It’s been on my heart to share my faith with you. This verse, Psalm 27:1 was pointed out to me by a fellow reader. Having never read Psalm 27 personally, the first verse of this chapter was screaming at me. It fits so perfectly in the season that the world is in. The verse is read like this:
Psalm 27:1 (NLT)
“The LORD is my Light and my Salvation.
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life.
Whom shall I be afraid?”
Be sure to tell us in the comments how God was your stronghold during a fearful time in your life.

Fear is the dark shadow that imprisons us in our own minds. We have all been a prisoner of this at one point of time or another – the fear of being rejected, not understood, not knowing what the future holds, fear of being sick or getting sick, or even being afraid to die.
Isn’t it great that we can conquer this though? By trusting in the LORD, who brings us light from the shadow and salvation. Let us remember Psalm 27:1 when fear creeps into our lives.
To keep it in line with our crafting site, I thought it fun to make a coloring page so you can display it proudly on the fridge, in your office, on your classroom wall, or framed on as wall decor.
However you decide to showcase your art work, I hope it helps you find your way closer to God and lets you let go of some of the fear we are all experiencing now and in the times to come.
