Ideas for Preschool Paper Dove Craft Printable
Below are just a few of my ideas to get your kids involved with this beautiful peace dove craft printable today!
1. Family Worship Art Activity
It’s great to have some new Holy Spirit art printable options for the kids to enjoy during family worship.
You can use peace dove templates as part of your art day with the younger kids.
They can each make a Holy Spirit Dove to hang upon your office walls or display on the refrigerator as a peace reminder.
2. Paper Plate Crafts
As with most of my preschool birds printable templates, you can make them into a cut and paste birds craft using paper plates.
Gather the paper plates, and the other supplies to make this preschool paper dove craft using leftover paper plates.
This is a fun way to create a YouTube DIY kids’ paper dove craft to hang upon your wall to bring more peaceful vibes into the home.
3. Tracing Activity Day
One of the easiest ways to enhance your kids’ fine motor skills is to use this paper dove craft template as a peace dove stencil. You can print out my template of the dove, and have your toddlers trace the outer edge of their dove.
From here, you can have your toddlers cut around the line of the Holy Spirit Dove to make their own mini peace doves for décor or fun!
4. Noah’s Ark Education
You can use my easy cut and paste bird crafts to create your own Noah’s Ark on construction paper. Using the birds template and other animal printables, have your toddlers create their favorite animals.
Draw a boat and create it with construction paper or cardstock. Have your toddlers glue their animals to Noah’s Ark as you recreate the beautiful ark as part of your peace dove craft day!

How to Make a Paper Dove Craft
After you’ve printed your dove template, go ahead and cut out the body parts.
Another fun way to enjoy this peaceful bird craft friend is to print the dove template on white paper and color his beak first. Then cut and glue him together.
After that, glue on his front wing first. This one will be the bigger of the two.
Next will come his back wings.
Then glue on his beak.
Finally, glue on an eye. If you want to spruce him up a bit, use fun googly eyes instead.
Your dove craft friend is all complete. Be sure to tell us in the comments what you will be using your new eagle buddy for.
You can glue him to construction paper, frame him, or write a fun message on the back and gift it to a special friend. The options are endless!
More Options to Choose:
- You can print the blank version and trace the cut outs on card stock paper for a sturdier bird,
- Print the color version for a simple and easy rainy day craft or,
- Print the blank version and use it as a fun coloring sheet activity and then glue the pieces together.
