2. Fun Facts About a Rabbit’s Feet
Did you know a rabbit’s foot is more than simply a lucky charm?
In fact, it’s a natural wonder!
I didn’t either until my children asked, “Mom, why do rabbits have such big feet?”
I felt that a little fun and, well, a lot of creativity would be the best way to teach them.
Spoiler: it included baby powder, giggles, and a few packs of jelly beans.
Did you know that rabbits do more than just hop about with their feet?
They thump them to alert their buddies to danger, like tiny forest superheroes!
Armed with this fun fact my kids immediately grabbed the bunny feet footprints template and asked if they could thump like bunnies to keep us safe from imaginary wolves.
Obviously, I said yes.
Did you know that rabbits can leap up to three feet high and ten feet in a single bound?
They can show off their athletic prowess or flee from predators thanks to the spring-like action of their strong back legs!
Then my kids bounce off like athletic rabbits when they find out.

Then, of course, came the baby powder to make the kitchen floor appear like an actual trail of bunny prints.
