Hi Mommy, I’m Kaitlen from SimpleMomProject.com
I am a messy bun, spit up covered shirt, holey leggings mom to two beautiful little girls. My oldest is four and my littlest is 5 months, and the wife to a spectacular man.
I have worked in retail my entire adult life from Old Navy to The Disney Store and now at Nordstrom. I studied nursing for a short while before I realized I wanted to spend my time exploring life on a more creative adventure.
I love crafting, I have always been creative even as a child and I LOVE starting new projects.
I truly wish I started blogging a long time ago! Aside from being able to share my adventures and mommy tricks I’ve learned over the years, I love blogging! It is so much fun! I get to meet amazing new people like you all of the time, even when I don’t have a chance to get out of my house.
It wasn’t until my husband and I bought a house in the country and had our second baby that I realized I wanted to be a stay at home mom. I do love my job, but I love being home with my girls more.
We have a small bit of land so it’s super nice (when the weather is nice) to get outside and play with a carefree attitude. On my off days, if not doing normal mommy chores, we are outside. Either drawing a new chalk design on the driveway or blowing bubbles, in the sunshine is where you will find me.
During my littlest nap times and after bedtime, I needed a little “me” time that didn’t include laundry or dishes, so I started blogging.
I have the best of both worlds. I am a stay at home mom, still working as I started growing my skills and meeting new friends online. It is wonderful.
